There certainly was plenty of sunshine as we worked our bodies in an outdoor setting. Trees, dogs, walkers and spiders couldn't keep us away from enjoying Tabata Bliss! Here was the workout in a nutshell:
After some Band warmups, we did leg and agility drills mixed with calisthenics (jumping jacks).
We laid out the long Battlerope and brought out the sandbells for our Tabatas. In between rounds we did Buddy Band Planks, Rows, and Paloff presses/holds.
Round 1 (8 cycles):
Forward moving side to side hops over the Battlerope - 4 cycles
Sandbell Chest Throws to Sprint - 4 cycles
Round 2 (8 cycles):
Forward moving Skaters over the Battlerope - 4 cycles
Sandbell Shoulder Throws to Sprint - 4 cycles
Round 3 (8 cycles):
Lateral moving Scissor Steps over the Battlerope - 4 cycles
Sandbell Hip Throws to Sprint - 4 cycles
Time flew by quickly, and we finished with a handful of abdominal exercises and stretched down.
